About the Journal

Journal of Sustainable Engineering and Science (JoSES) is a cross-disciplinary scholarly, open-access journal of engineering and science that provides a platform to publish ideas and research output related to sustainability and sustainable development. It publishes reviews, regular research papers, communications, and short notes, and there is no restriction on the papers' length.

We aim to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical research relating to natural sciences and engineering to promote scientific predictions and impact global change and development.

ETHICAL STATEMENT

Journal of Sustainable Engineering and Science (JoSES) is committed to meeting and upholding ethical behaviour standards at all publication process stages. The manuscripts submitted to the Journal must be original and scientific research papers. Plagiarism is an unacceptable violation of publication ethics. The authors have the primary responsibility to ensure that their manuscript is free from plagiarism. It is also crucial for the journal’s editors and reviewers to detect plagiarism in manuscripts and do necessary follow-ups. The authors must make sure that the manuscript does not violate any copyright or intellectual property rights. If copyrighted material exceeding approximately 100 words from a journal article or approximately 500 words from a book is used, the author must have obtained written permission for its use.  The reviewers’ main responsibility is to improve the paper's quality by reviewing the manuscript objectively and thoroughly on time. Peer reviews are double-blinded, and editors shall preserve the anonymity of reviewers. To this end, the Journal of Asian and African Social Science and Humanities has adopted a Code of Publication Ethics to ensure that its commitment to integrity is adhered to by authors, editors, and reviewers.

PUBLICATION CHARGES

If the paper is accepted for publication, the author(s) will be asked to pay USD 37  (RM 150)  as an article publication fee to defray the operating costs. However, a partial/full waiver policy is applicable for high-quality articles and certain countries upon request by the author.
